Thank you to everyone who has viewed my website and read my blog! I appreciate your comments and support!
Big things are happening this week. In case you don’t know, my in-laws are moving into the condo right below me. I’m so excited to have Linda and Rod close by. I’ve told several people and a few have given me questioning looks. Your in-laws are moving in? Near you? I’ve confirmed their questions with my own puzzled look.
I understand the hesitance some people may feel because maybe they don’t have a good relationship with their family, but rest assured everything will be fine. I will treasure the memories that we will share, memories that would have passed us by if not for this incredible journey they’ve decided to take.
I will cherish getting to know the people who have raised the most incredible son on this earth, as I treasure my husband every minute of the day. He is the epitome of what a man should be: supportive and encouraging, not destructive and demeaning. He is kind and loving, gentle and strong. I’m blessed and lucky to have him as my husband.
I look forward to seeing my sister-in-law, Karen, more often and I consider her another sister of mine. I admire her for her passion and energy and the sacrifices she has made for her family. I see the same remarkable qualities in her as I do in Linda and Rod.
Linda is one of my biggest fans of Drowning and I am excited for her to read each new rewrite of the story, knowing she’ll give me an unbiased (mostly!) opinion of my work.
Rod, my buddy, is a rock and I look forward to our time together. My son will get to know, really know, his grandparents and my husband will renew the bond he had with them growing up.
What a gift they’ve given to us!
Thank you Rod and Linda and welcome!
