I hope you are having a good week!
I am very excited to announce that the release date of Drowning is August 1st and will be sold through the major book retailing sites. It will be offered in both eBook and print format.
It has been a long, long process and I couldn’t have completed it without the support and help of several family members and friends. I appreciate all of your help and you know who you are! Both my husband, Rodney, and my mother have been reading every draft and there have been many.
I’ve decided to dedicate the book to ‘all of our sisters’. We need to support each other and help one another. We are ‘all sisters’.
I truly hope Drowning changes the way people look at domestic violence, how they perceive victims and survivors, and that Drowning helps put an end to this devastating issue that is so prevalent in society.
Remember, if we can help just one woman, we’ve done our job.

Drowning by Katelin Maloney
Winter in western New York is brutal. So is Rebecca’s marriage to Mitch, a successful doctor. Rebecca has simple dreams. Promotion. Children. Happy marriage. But Mitch’s behavior represents reality.
When Rebecca has a chance for a promotion at the bank, it could be the answer to her prayers. There’s only one problem. Mitch. The abuse is escalating and he has different plans for her life.
Ultimately, Rebecca must come to terms with Mitch’s abuse and deal with her own inner demons. Will she be able to find her former, stronger self before Mitch destroys her completely?
Drowning is vivid portrayal of living in an abusive relationship, learning to love oneself, and allowing others to enter our hearts. With a surprising twist, this story will captivate readers long after they’ve completed the book.
